Annual Bristol Baby Fair returns for 2008!
Bristol Baby Fair - The Best for Your Baby! Saturday, August 16, 2008, 10 am – 2pm The YWCA and La Leche League of Bristol are joining together to present the 2008 Baby to Family Expo: The Best for Your Baby, in conjunction with World Breastfeeding Week, on August 16, 2008. Our hope is that this event will assist families new to parenthood and to our area to become acquainted with the resources available to them. We are inviting more than 180 vendors, services and events, and from 10 am to 2 pm they will be sharing their information, selling goods, and conducting car seat checks, kid identifications, giveaways, drawings, a silent auction, offering food, and much more. Parents, Grandparents and Caregivers will find information on childbirth, breastfeeding, parenting, education, health, safety, faith, dance, recreation, photography, toys, financial planning, insurance, clothing and more. Underage Drinking Forum a Success
Check out our latest Bristol's Promise event, the Underage Drinking Forum held for Alcohol Awareness Month in April. The forum was held Friday night, April 4 to talk about this issue that affects every community in America. A group of 30 concerned parents, youth and community leaders met to discuss underage drinking.
